Dalia was recently placed among the top ten fastest growing startups in Germany as part of Grunderszene’s ‘50 Growth Winner Awards’. The awards, which rank companies’ growth in sales between 2014 and 2016, put Dalia in 6th place with a growth rate of 572%.

Since its humble beginnings in 2014, Dalia has grown into a team of 32 data scientists, engineers, researchers and product experts originating from over 17 different countries (with even more on the way!)

Following its mission to make the world’s collective intelligence more accessible, Dalia’s engine has since 2014 distributed hundreds of millions of micro-surveys to 32 million people spread across 106 countries and thereby collected and analysed well over one billion answers.

Used primarily to generate market insights for over 100 B2B clients, Dalia also leverages its technology to better understand the future of mobility, evaluate the best allocation of humanitarian aid after the earthquake in Mexico, measure the prices of illegal products or shed light on populist movements in the US and in Europe.

“Everyday, businesses and governments use information to make decisions that affect the lives of billions of people,” argues Nico Jaspers, Dalia’s CEO, “but the most important information – what people actually think, plan and feel – is currently very difficult to generate. We set ourselves the goal to change that and help people at all levels to make better decisions.”
